How much does a cake cost?

The short answer: We don’t know! That may sound like a crazy answer coming from a bakery that specializes in cakes, but you would not go to a real estate agent and ask, “How much is a house?” without giving any information about what you are looking for. The real estate agent would have no idea what the ‘cost of a house’ is without you providing them with details regarding what kind of house you are looking for. How many bedrooms do you need? How many bathrooms do you need? How much square footage are you looking for? Do you want a garage? Do you need an office? What building material do you want the house made out of? etc. Even two houses with completely identical aspects in regard to all of these details mentioned above can have significantly different prices if they are located in different parts of town. This is the same with custom cakes.

Unless we are provided with information regarding what sort of details you are wanting for your cake, we have no way of knowing how much your cake will cost. This is why we have a simple system in place which allows you to tell us what you are looking for, so we can use your details to calculate your cake cost. This allows us to not only eliminate any grey area in terms of pricing, but it also allows us to provide you with the best price possible because we are charging based on YOUR desires, not on the average cake cost.
